Biography
Debbie was destined to be a teacher, healer, therapist and a life-long student of the human mind. At a very young age she carried a deep passion and curiosity about the human mind and human personalities.
Growing up in Greece – a country where superstition and misapprehension about hypnosis still exists today – there were very few books written in her native language on the topic to feed her curious mind. Luckily, she was delighted to find a vast collection of English hypnosis books when she moved to Canada at the age of twenty. This was the official beginning of her journey as a teacher and life trainer in healing and serving others.
Debbie’s keen interest in the connection between the mind and body led to an intuitive decision to enroll in a four-year Spiritual Psychotherapy program at the Transformational Arts College in Toronto. Debbie then studied with influential individuals in the industry – including Dr. Richard Harte, Leo Bolduc, Gerry Kein, Ormond McGill, Bill Curry, Tad James, Maurice Kershaw, Reverend Scot Giles, Don Mottin, Dr. Irene Hickman, and Dr. Baldwin, just to name a few – that helped mould her into the successful and reputable Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist she is today.
What started out as a career in psychotherapy exposed Debbie to the study of human dynamics where she recognized an increased need for hypnotherapy and past life exploration techniques to treat her clients. This led her to advance her practice by becoming a Registered Psychotherapist, Board Certified Hypnotherapist, Past Life Regression Trainer/Practitioner, Life Between Lives Practitioner, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner/Trainer, Time Line Therapy™ Practitioner/Trainer, and a Reiki Master. Possessing vital ingredients resulting for global success – impeccable knowledge and skills coupled with undying passion and dedication – Debbie is now an internationally recognized Trainer Registered Psychotherapist and Board Certified Hypnotherapist specializing in sleep disorders like insomnia, clearing blockages and relationship issues. She also has a proven track record of work with patients experiencing anxiety or suffering from addictions and in weight loss or smoking cessation programs.
